Trinity Episcopal Church is ….

That’s not an easy sentence to complete for inclusion on a bumper sticker – or a web page. We’re one family in Christ Jesus. That’s probably the most important thing to know about us. And we’re not all the same – different ages, backgrounds, styles, opinions, politics, preferences and more. We’re joined together by baptism into the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We’re held together in worship through common prayer. We play together, pray together, laugh and cry together, argue with each other, make up with and forgive each other. We’re a people with ultimate confidence in our future because our future is in the hands of a Heavenly Father who will never fail us or forsake us.

The pages on our web site can give you a small glimpse of what we do. Yet the whole story is too rich and deep for any communication medium, particularly the Internet. The best way to get to know us is to hang out with us.

We’re also a people on a journey. God is bringing us through a time of renewal and new growth. We’re restoring some old ministries and watching new ones being born in our midst. We’ve discovered some areas of weakness that God is showing us how to address. We’ve also discovered some areas of strength that we’d taken for granted and we’re now learning to celebrate them.

We hope you’ll check us out. Though be warned – we’re far from perfect. Yet we’re discovering that the hard, slow growth to the perfection of Jesus Christ is also in fact very, very fun.
