Clergy Transition
Trinity’s Transition - The Search for our new Rector
Trinity Episcopal Church began the long process of searching for and calling a new Rector in Spring of 2025. Since that time, the Vestry has worked with The Rev. Vanessa Stickler Glass, Canon for Transition & Wellness at the Diocese of Colorado, to explore the transition process. They then developed committees to help with the work required and contracted with Holy Cow! Consulting, for development of a congregational assessment survey.
The Profile/Portfolio committee used congregational data and group input to develop and refine the documents that will define Trinity throughout the search process - our Profile and Ministry Portfolio (see below). These documents were finalized and the position of Rector at Trinity Greeley was posted on the diocesan website at the beginning of February.
The Selection Committee will be working with Canon Stickler Glass to develop questions and set up interviews for candidates that apply for the position by mid-March. The Selection Committee will communicate about the selection process but, due to privacy concerns, will not be able to share information about any of our candidates. Their charge is to complete initial screening of candidates and present recommendations for 2 to 5 finalists to the Vestry for final interview and selection. Currently the target date for welcoming a new rector is July 1, 2026.
