TRINITY EPISCOPAL CHURCH OUTREACH MINISTRY
Outreach is the act of providing a helping hand and encouragement to those who face difficulties in receiving services and resources. As ambassadors for Christ, we share what we have with others.
The Outreach Ministry is funded in three ways; through Trinity’s General Fund, as allocated by the Vestry; through Parishioners, who make donations in addition to their regular pledge; and from Designated Reserve Funds.
Volunteers contribute to the Outreach Mission by serving in any of our four ministries:
Outreach Grants
One way Trinity Episcopal Church has served others is by providing gifts to nonprofit organizations which our parishioners have brought to the Outreach Committee. While the majority of grants are awarded early in the year, the Outreach Committee will evaluate applications at any time, as funds are available.

Food Boxes
Food Boxes are our most visible form of Outreach, serving approximately 60 families per month. Thanksgiving Turkeys, Christmas gifts for children, Easter Hams, as well as personal and home hygiene items are generously supported by parishioners.
Food Box Team is Looking for Hungry Families - Do you know someone who is in need of food assistance? If you want to refer a family for our program, please send an email to office@trinitygreeley.org or call Karoline at 381-6697.
211 Partnership and the Blessings Fund
211 is a United Way Referral Program where Trinity can help with emergency needs for community residents. Currently, we focus on providing gasoline for emergency trips and helping with medical prescriptions. Recipients start by calling “211” and talking to a 211 navigator, who will refer their request to the appropriate agency, including Trinity.
The Blessing Fund provides help for non-parishioners who have been referred to us by a parishioner. Various needs can be met through this fund. Chris Woodruff coordinates these two programs. Parishioners who want to refer someone to this program, should send an email to office@trinitygreeley.org or contact Chris.
